Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

About the Role
Atrium Health seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform mammographic/radiographic procedures with minimal supervision. This individual will be responsible for general radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable procedures as assigned, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures with attention to detail and patient safety
- Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required
- Provide age-specific care to patients across various age groups
Requirements
- One year or more of experience as a staff technologist
- Adequate capabilities as determined by department administrator
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Meets requirements for registry by ARRT
- Meets MQSA requirements
- Maintains and documents continuing education requirements as required by ARRT
Preferred Qualifications
- One year or more of experience in mammography
