Job Title: Account Executive for ISV/VAR Partnerships

At PayEngine, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, winning, and maintaining relationships with Integrated Software Vendors (ISVs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to help them monetize their payments within their respective vertical space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a solution-oriented approach to create partnerships with ISVs/VARs
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through individual prospecting efforts
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather functional and business requirements from partners and translate them into related solution design documentation or proposals
  • Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales operations
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase existing business
  • Convert new business leads into qualified opportunities to increase revenue through sales
  • Provide professional product demonstrations to potential clients
  • Effectively conduct sales presentations to potential clients
  • Update customers on product modifications, changes, and enhancements
  • Prepare reports for sales and marketing as needed

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in merchant acquiring, selling merchant services to ISVs/VARs, and integrated partners
  • Strong sales and closing skills, knowledge of merchant processing and pricing
  • Deep knowledge of financial/payment solutions technology
  • Experience using CRM tools and others such as Excel, or MS Project to proactively track and manage deliverables, risks, etc.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
