The Housekeeper is essential in ensuring a pristine and healthy environment for patient care. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks aimed at maintaining the sanitation and cleanliness of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cleaning and custodial duties to uphold a hygienic atmosphere.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, and supplies.
- Perform additional housekeeping tasks such as rearranging furniture, turning mattresses, and maintaining floors through sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing.
- Ensure that adequate cleaning supplies are available for departmental use.
- Clean and store all equipment and supplies properly after each shift.
- Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange necessary equipment and decorations for events.
- May assist in stocking supplies as needed.
- Adhere to infection control protocols consistently.
