We are in search of a committed Program Manager to oversee the Japan Aegis Lifetime Support (LTS) initiative within the International Mission Systems (IMS) Asia Region. This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a mix of in-office and remote work, thereby fostering flexibility and enhancing work-life harmony.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the upkeep and assistance for the Japanese Aegis vessels under a Foreign Military Sale (FMS) agreement.
  • Direct the creation, integration, testing, and rollout of Aegis software updates for various Japan Aegis ship configurations, ensuring timely delivery of contractual obligations.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for program execution, opportunity development, and risk management with the PEO IWS customer and Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSF) end-user.
  • Guarantee that financial commitments related to the Japan LTS initiative are fulfilled.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies.
  • Experience in program management and collaboration with US government stakeholders.
  • Capability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Skills:
  • Possession of an Active Secret Security Clearance is advantageous.
  • Background in software development, Aegis program, and proposal crafting.
  • Strong team-building and interpersonal skills for leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing schedules and financial performance.
Security Clearance: This role necessitates a government security clearance; applicants must be US Citizens for eligibility.

Work Schedule: This is a part-time position with a hybrid work arrangement. The selected candidate will work remotely part of the time and at a designated Lockheed Martin facility for the remainder. Schedules are adaptable to support a healthy work-life balance.
