WHAT WE'RE DOING
The world's most advanced combat system.

The Aegis Combat System is the Navy's most modern surface combat system. It was designed as a complete system: the missile launching element, the computer programs, the radar and the displays are fully integrated to work together. This makes the Aegis system the first fully integrated combat system built to defend against advanced air and surface threats.

THE WORK
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, and operating budgets. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical and administrative areas.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience with EVM (Earned Valued Management)

Experience with the Risk and Opportunity Program Management and or Digital transformation

Navy contracting knowledge

Proven performance in managing/leading teams with
responsibilities for technical, schedule and financial performance.

Must have an active clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience with Sites Billing Processes or distributed billing to multiple funding sponsors

General awareness of NJ Sites

Cyber Accreditation and Classified Information experience

Awareness of Development Computing Infrastructure

Knowledge of Facilities and hotel services at facilities and land-based test and training sites

Strategic Planning experience

Experience with Task Planning Sheet (TPS) development and submission

Familiarity with Aegis / BMD Development processes

Knowledge of procedures for preparation and development of proposals.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
