About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux/Windows System Administrator to join our AEGIS O&M Program team at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Linux/Windows systems, including hardware and software installation, fault detection and isolation, volume backups, system monitoring, and user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows systems, including hardware and software components
  • Perform fault detection and isolation to ensure system uptime and minimize downtime
  • Conduct volume backups and system monitoring to ensure data integrity and system stability
  • Provide user support and technical assistance to internal stakeholders
  • Develop and implement scripts to automate system administration tasks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system readiness and compliance with security and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of experience in Linux/Windows system administration
  • Security+ certification
  • Experience working with third-party products and in a lab environment
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Desired skills include experience supporting UNIX-based users on a LAN, integration and test experience, and experience working with customer/user representatives
