Roofing Sales and Business Development Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Roofing Sales and Business Development Professional to join our team at Progressive Roofing. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new relationships to sell profitable preventive roof maintenance agreements, restoration coating systems, and corrective roof repairs on commercial, industrial, and government buildings.
About the Role: To be successful in this role, you must have demonstrated experience successfully selling profitable commercial roofing service agreements and/or restoration coating systems. You will work closely with property and facilities managers, general contractors, and manufacturer representatives to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Your ability to analyze roofs as well as blueprints, specification interpretations, proposals, and other documentation will enable you to prepare accurate material quotes, fabrication labor, and construction labor requirement quotes, project pricing, and bid abstracts.
Key Responsibilities: The Roofing Sales and Business Development Professional will maintain a positive rapport with clients and stakeholders while computing cost factors and preparing estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors and/or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness. Additionally, this individual will organize and manage a centralized cost estimating database and a formal process to support cost estimating to ensure historical data is utilized.
Requirements: Successful applicants must have 5 years verifiable estimating and/or sales experience specific to roofing (preferably with a focus on service and/or coating restoration work). All candidates considered for this position must be fluent in Microsoft Office suite software, and candidates must be able to demonstrate their skills and will be tested.
