Progressive Roofing: Commercial Roofing Service Sales

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Roofing Sales Executive. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new relationships and selling profitable preventive roof maintenance agreements, restoration coating systems, and corrective roof repairs on commercial, industrial, and government buildings.

About the Role
  • This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your sales skills and experience in the roofing industry to drive business growth and success.
  • You will work closely with our project managers, purchasing, and management teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans.
  • Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with property and facilities managers, general contractors, and manufacturer representatives to generate new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze roofs, blueprints, specification interpretations, proposals, and other documentation to prepare material quotes, fabrication labor, and construction labor requirement quotes, project pricing, and bid abstracts.
  • Maintain a positive rapport with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Consult with subcontractors, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
  • Work with Project Managers, Purchasing, and Management to prepare and finalize bids.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years verifiable estimating and/or sales experience specific to roofing (preferably with a focus on service and/or coating restoration work).
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite software.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
