The On-Call Server is a key member of our hospitality team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in our lounge area. As a server, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and efficient service to lounge customers, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Set up tables and ensure proper linen, silver, china, and other items are in place.
  • Take customer orders and provide suggestions for beverages and food.
  • Coordinate service with other servers and the chef to ensure seamless execution.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests, refilling beverages as needed.
  • Remove dirty glasses, linens, and dishes from the lounge area.
  • Respond to customer requests and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Clean the lounge area during and after events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of experience in a similar position within an upscale environment preferred.
  • Basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to relate to all levels of guests and management.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to maneuver up to 150 pounds occasionally for short periods.
  • Able to set up and take down tables, chairs, stages, and other banquet meeting fixtures.
  • Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 200 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
