Position Overview
Under the guidance of the Clinical Director, the Admissions Counselor is responsible for a variety of assessment and intake-related functions. This role requires maintaining substantial communication with both public and private organizations.

Key Responsibilities
- Represent Addiction Treatment Services in initiatives aimed at enhancing public understanding of the agency's offerings and issues related to substance abuse.
- Conduct thorough assessments, liaising with referral agencies, and facilitating the admission of clients into the ATS treatment framework.

Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in Human Services or a related field is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with maturity, insight, and sound judgment.
- Candidates must show measurable progress towards obtaining CSAC certification within two years of employment.
- Experience in recognizing and assessing substance use disorders is required.
- Familiarity with the social, cultural, and economic factors affecting the community is necessary, along with demonstrated communication skills in a diverse environment.
