Position Overview:
As an Audiology Specialist, you will operate under medical supervision to conduct comprehensive audiometric assessments aimed at identifying the extent of hearing impairment, pinpointing the location of auditory dysfunction, and addressing the rehabilitation requirements of patients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess the necessity for diagnostic audiological evaluations.
  • Administer standard audiological assessments alongside specialized diagnostic procedures.
  • Analyze patient needs for hearing rehabilitation and provide suitable referrals.
  • Assess the requirement for hearing aids and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Order the necessary hearing aids and conduct follow-up evaluations to ensure they fulfill patient requirements.

Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Clinical Audiology is required, along with eligibility for a valid Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech and Hearing Association.


Knowledge and Skills:
  • Familiarity with auditory rehabilitation techniques and methodologies.
  • Understanding of referral processes and patient needs.
  • Proficiency in audiological testing methods and equipment.
  • Ability to operate and maintain audiological devices.

Personal Attributes:
Capability to assess auditory rehabilitation needs effectively and engage compassionately with patients.
