We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Ballinger Memorial Hospital District.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and preventing patients with speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide therapy and interventions to improve patients' functional communication skills.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Stay updated on current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure by the Texas Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:
- 1 year experience in speech-language pathology.
- Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassion and patience in working with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
