Position Overview

Role: Senior Paralegal, Corporate Office

Employment Type: Contract-Hire

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in-office, 3 days remote)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain corporate minute books for all business entities.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting obligations, including proxy statements and annual meetings, alongside various corporate legal issues.
  • Support litigation and pre-litigation processes by overseeing insurance matters and legal holds.
  • Utilize a balanced approach between business and legal perspectives to proactively identify risks and propose effective solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in corporate or SEC matters, is essential, ideally within the retail, hospitality, or restaurant sectors.
  • Experience as an in-house paralegal is highly desirable.
Certifications:
  • A paralegal certificate from an accredited institution is mandatory.
