Job Overview

The Inside Sales Product Consultant will play a pivotal role in advancing the growth strategies for CECO Environmental's Aftermarket division, concentrating on spare, replacement, and upgrade components.

Key Responsibilities

Essential duties include:

  • Developing and nurturing relationships within the existing customer base.
  • Expanding the Industrial Solutions portfolio to meet and surpass sales and revenue objectives through proactive outreach and inbound inquiries.
  • Creating and maintaining a robust pipeline of sales prospects to drive bookings and enhance revenue.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on Industrial Solutions equipment.
  • Addressing technical support inquiries from both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborating with Engineering and External Sales teams on new product applications and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Providing customer assistance through web chat and phone communications.
  • Consulting with clients on ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Supporting the implementation and startup of new equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Utilizing sales tracking tools to manage the sales pipeline effectively.
  • Preparing price quotations and managing follow-up activities.
  • Coordinating the fulfillment of customer needs, including technical support, training, and sales materials.
  • Partnering with Customer Service to deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in selling filtration or capital equipment within industrial markets, or managing construction projects.
  • Technical knowledge of air handling, filtration, purification, and HVAC system design is preferred.
  • Experience with project lifecycle processes in manufacturing settings.
  • Familiarity with systems integration and process analytics is advantageous.
  • Understanding of contract negotiation and legal terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
