Job Overview

The Inside Sales Product Consultant will play a pivotal role in advancing the development and growth strategies for CECO Environmental's Aftermarket division, focusing on spare, replacement, and upgrade parts solutions.

Key Responsibilities

To excel in this role, the individual must effectively manage the following responsibilities:

  • Foster, develop, and enhance relationships with the existing customer base.
  • Expand the Industrial Solutions portfolio to meet and surpass sales and revenue objectives through proactive and reactive communication efforts.
  • Create and maintain a robust pipeline of sales prospects to drive bookings and increase revenue.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Industrial Solutions equipment.
  • Address technical inquiries from both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and External Sales teams on new product applications and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Provide customer support through online platforms and telephone communication.
  • Consult with clients regarding current and upcoming projects.
  • Assist in the implementation and initiation of new equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Utilize sales tracking tools to monitor the sales pipeline and achieve sales targets.
  • Prepare pricing quotes and manage follow-up activities related to quotations.
  • Coordinate the fulfillment of customer needs, including technical support, training, and sales materials.
  • Work in partnership with Customer Service to deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Continuously develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services to provide accurate and detailed information to customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in selling filtration equipment, capital equipment, or construction projects within industrial markets. A technical background with a fundamental understanding of air handling, filtration, purification, and HVAC system design is preferred.
  • Experience in managing project lifecycles within manufacturing settings.
  • Familiarity with systems integration, particularly in process analytics, is advantageous.
  • Understanding of contract negotiation and legal terminology.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
