Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and deliver compelling marketing presentations and solution-based proposals to cater to customer needs.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with clients to ensure lasting business partnerships and continued revenue growth.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and utilize multiple lead sources to research, prioritize, and target potential customers.
  • Analyze sales metrics to develop effective strategies for achieving sales success.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of advertising/media sales experience with a track record of driving revenue and closing deals.
  • Proven sales success in digital media or online advertising sales.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with a sales enablement platform.
  • Video conferencing skills and proficiency in Zoom, Google Hangouts, or similar tools.
  • Sales techniques expertise, including cold-calling, networking, and lead generation.
  • Self-driven and independent with excellent presentation, organizational, and time management skills.

The annual salary range is $65,000 - $75,000 base pay plus uncapped commission, and cell phone/mileage reimbursement. Pay is based on several factors, including education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, MediaNews Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
