Job Overview

Jensen Hughes is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our California Region team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new orders and proposals for our professional consulting services, including life safety, fire protection, forensics, and security across major markets.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Operations and other Business Development leaders to drive new orders and proposals
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to win new large complex projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality proposals and presentations
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales data and reporting
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience selling consulting services within the AEC industry
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Operations and driving orders and proposals for professional consulting services
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to create and deliver sales presentations using modern office tools
  • Ability to build and manage an expense budget
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within and occasionally outside of the state
