Senior Principal Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at FormFactor. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and tools to support the production of our high-performance semiconductor test and measurement products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and tools to support the production of high-performance semiconductor test and measurement products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost reductions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing engineers and technicians to ensure the successful implementation of new processes and tools.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of manufacturing-related quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and manage budgets and resource plans to support the implementation of new processes and tools.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source and procure new equipment and materials to support the production of high-performance semiconductor test and measurement products.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on process development and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and tools, including surface mount technology, thermal reflow, and automated component attach.
- Experience with statistical process control and design of experiments, as well as quality and continuous improvement methodologies such as FMEA, RCA, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing engineers and technicians.
- Experience with equipment procurement, installation, and qualification, as well as the development of new process technology and capabilities.
- A competitive salary range of $136,200 - $178,815, depending on experience.
