About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrochemical Process Engineer to join our team at FormFactor. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced electrochemical plating processes to meet the demands of our high-volume manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development: Create, maintain, and update plating process work instructions to ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies.
  • Equipment Qualification: Set up, qualify, and sustain electrochemistry plating equipment, processes, and metrology methods to ensure equipment meets or exceeds process criteria.
  • Problem Solving: Coordinate and execute problem-solving efforts, including hands-on troubleshooting of plating process and equipment issues, working with equipment engineers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with production teams to ensure operators are sufficiently processing lots per work instructions, coordinate downtime with process and production resources.
  • Chemical Maintenance: Manage chemical maintenance jobs and scheduling to meet process needs.
  • Training and Development: Provide technical expertise, leadership, and in-depth training to equipment maintenance technicians to ensure equipment is properly and timely maintained.
  • Equipment Installation: Plan and coordinate equipment installation activities, including specifying facility needs and developing/executing equipment qualification activities.
  • Troubleshooting: Perform troubleshooting of electro-mechanical equipment issues in collaboration with equipment engineers and employ long-term repairs per company problem-solving methods.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrochemical, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of related experience as a Process Manufacturing or Process Development Engineer in a MEMS, semiconductor, or other relevant production fab environment.
  • Skills: Hands-on experience with process, chemistry, and equipment/hardware development required for advanced electrochemical plating processes, proven track record of developing and deploying creative and practical process solutions for high-volume manufacturing, willingness to take responsibility and ownership to aggressively focus on problems, general familiarity with other standard MEMS unit processes and/or materials associated with Thin Films, Photolithography, Planarization, and MicroAssembly.

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,700 to $145,320, depending on experience and qualifications.
