About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at FormFactor. As a key member of our planarization group, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the grinding and CMP process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for grinding and CMP process, ensuring seamless manufacturing operations.
  • Support manufacturing with existing equipment and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Perform engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and resolving issues daily in a MEMS fab environment, and daily tool health monitoring.
  • Disposition production wafers and parts based on working instructions, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • A self-starter, able to proactively learn and offer ideas for improvement, driving process optimization and innovation.
  • Ensure proper documentation of process instructions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist in technical training for operation staff, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Assist in process development and optimization projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience working in the MEMS or semiconductor industry with direct experience in developing and/or supporting manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in planarization and/or metrology process development, process control, and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in photolithography and electroplating is preferred.
