Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team at George Moore Chevrolet. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Service Department to achieve maximum efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service department productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and motivate a team of service consultants and technicians to ensure excellent customer service and quality workmanship.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, parts, and inventory, to maintain profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, dealership policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to promote the dealership's reputation and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service department operations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a service management role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of improving service department efficiency and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of dealership operations, including service, parts, and finance.
