Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Cardinal Health. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, providing exceptional service and recommendations to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships between customers, sales teams, operations, and customer service leadership to ensure seamless service delivery and optimized supply chain management.
  • Prioritize process improvement initiatives to focus on customer account retention, including the development of optimal conversion processes and key performance metric scorecards.
  • Support the rollout of our Customer Supply Chain Model and Standard Operating Platform.
  • Coordinate and communicate Health System Distribution initiatives across the Field Account Management team to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Track, measure, and report value/savings offered/delivered through supply chain engagement.
  • Build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with customers to support retention of the channel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience, with direct customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong executive presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong command of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Highly motivated, creative, and able to operate effectively within a team.
  • Customer/vendor credentialing is required (this may include vaccinations). More details will be provided during the interview process.

  • Competitive salary range: $65,500 - $98,175.
  • No bonus eligibility.
