Position Overview: Jasco Products Company is in search of a Creative Director who will transition the organization from a traditional "Retail First" approach to a streamlined "Digital First" strategy. This role is pivotal in enhancing our online brand presence and driving e-commerce sales while ensuring successful product integration into physical retail environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of creative concepts, narratives, and user experiences across all brand initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams of graphic designers, copywriters, and digital professionals to execute innovative projects.
  • Work closely with internal and freelance creative resources to devise comprehensive project plans.
  • Establish and refine best practices for creative processes, workload management, and budget oversight.
  • Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer to align brand strategies and develop impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Engage with Sales Management to interpret strategic briefs and translate them into creative deliverables.
  • Generate compelling, consumer-focused creative ideas that resonate with our audience.
  • Facilitate internal brainstorming sessions to cultivate new creative concepts.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Product Development to implement effective creative testing methodologies.
  • Present creative concepts to clients during Sales Meetings.
  • Review and provide feedback on designs to ensure alignment with brand standards and marketing goals.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of design principles, copywriting, and digital best practices.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and marketing innovations to enhance our creative strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to prioritize digital and mobile-first marketing efforts.
  • Identify and define freelance talent needs for specialized skills.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, providing updates to executive leadership.
  • Establish and uphold brand standards and creative workflows to ensure consistency across all assets.
  • Guide the selection of external agencies for design, animation, and video projects.
  • Foster an open communication environment by addressing team concerns and providing solutions.
  • Mentor team members, facilitating training and development to promote growth and succession planning.
  • Act as an internal expert in brand and digital design, keeping abreast of marketing industry advancements.
  • Some travel may be necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in leading digital design, storytelling, and brand development in a direct marketing capacity or agency environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of art and digital design principles.
  • Strong grasp of brand development and multichannel marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strategic problem-solving skills with a focus on interpreting organizational needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities.
  • Proficient presentation skills with the capability to advocate for new ideas and concepts.
  • Extensive experience with Mac and software such as Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with the complete web development process, including UX/UI design and campaign execution.
  • Knowledge of leading AI technologies is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining an objective perspective.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
