Digital Hardware System Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Hardware System Designer to join our System-Architecture team at PsiQuantum. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design and development of our photonic quantum computer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop digital logic systems for our photonic quantum computer.
- Collaborate with our team to define and implement the hardware primitives for our quantum algorithms.
- Work closely with digital designers to optimize designs and meet performance requirements.
- Develop Python models to integrate with our proprietary discrete-time-event simulation tool.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of relevant work or academic research experience.
- Strong critical thinking, creative, innovative, analytical, and detail-oriented problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confirmed Python programmer with a focus on clear code.
Additional Desired Experience:
- Distributed system experience, including event correlation from multiple sources under real-time constraints.
- Experience with Hardware Definition Languages (HDLs) such as VHDL or Verilog.
- Background in photonics.
