Robotics Systems Design/Integration Engineer

Tesla is seeking a highly skilled Robotics Systems Design/Integration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and integrating complex electro-mechanical systems for our robots.
Key Responsibilities- Distill product requirements into quantifiable constraints and actionable engineering systems design discussions
- Integrate and design battery, sensing, communications, and actuator systems
- Develop system-level test plans for hardware and software features
- Use field data to improve design and performance of the system
- Be a systems expert and responsible for overall functional and performance readiness of a system and its features during the full product life cycle
- Develop early system prototypes to de-risk new technologies
- Highlight and resolve n-th order impacts of electrical and software requirements
- Triage and debug hardware and software interactions during design, launch, and deployment
- Manage program priorities and support a host of projects simultaneously
- Engineering degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- 0-5+ years of experience in systems design, systems architecture, systems integration, or related electro-mechanical systems
- Strong electrical and embedded systems fundamentals
- Hands-on technical experience debugging complex subsystems involving network microprocessors and software-controlled electrical or electromechanical devices
- Ability to read and interpret C/C++ or similar embedded systems languages
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in MATLAB, Python, or equivalent tools for modeling and analysis
- Proficient in data visualization

$120,000 - $264,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
