Radar Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop system-level models for radar imaging and digital communication systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate radar systems with satellite hardware and software
- Develop and implement test plans for hardware verification and validation
- Work closely with ASIC/FPGA, RF/antenna, and software engineers to design and validate high-performance radar imaging and digital communication systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in system-level modeling and digital signal processing
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Learns new concepts rapidly, completely, and in a self-directed manner
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis in radar image formation and/or digital signal processing
- 2+ years of experience in system-level radar modeling
- Experience with radar waveforms and pulse-encoding schemes, including LFM chirp, pseudo-noise waveforms, and low-autocorrelation or LPI techniques

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
