Job Overview

FLS Transportation Services (USA) Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team. As a Transportation Brokerage Sales Professional, you will be responsible for generating sales leads, building relationships with existing clientele, and fostering new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Utilize inside sales networking, cold-calling, and relationship-building to generate sales leads and drive business growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities to expand business internally.
  • New Business Development: Foster new customer relationships and develop strategies to ensure business growth.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with internal operations teams to create solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Gather market information, analyze opportunities, and develop sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Proposal and Quotation Development: Prepare and deliver responses to client inquiries, including requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs).
  • Presentation and Communication: Develop and deliver presentations to prospective clients to showcase our services and build relationships.
Requirements
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the 3PL industry and willingness to learn freight brokerage sales.
  • Sales Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of attracting, closing, and delivering new business.
  • Soft Skills: Passion for sales, strong work ethic, and a drive to succeed (exceed quota). Hard working, entrepreneurial, accountable, and proactive individuals are encouraged to apply.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
