Key Responsibilities- Develop new business opportunities to ensure profitable customers and help grow the business through consultative selling, issue resolution, and superior service.
- Ensure product, pricing, and services meet client needs while meeting Aetna revenue growth and profit objectives.
- Manage and build producer relations.
- Identify various ways to partner with the client by drawing from the entire spectrum of product lines, illustrating a keen understanding of client multifaceted needs and benefits of Aetna's full product array.
- Collaborate with internal partners and/or external constituents to uncover profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities within new or existing customers and to support post-sale activities.
- Coordinate sales materials, testimonials, and subject matter expert involvement in support of the successful delivery of constituent presentations. Participate and lead constituent meetings, including final presentations.
- 1-5+ years of industry and sales experience, depending on business segment being supported and the products and services being sold.
- Must be able to commute within the market.
- Health & Life Insurance license or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Proficiency with desktop software applications, such as email, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Salesforce.
- Persuasive presentation skills demonstrating value.
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
- Plan Benefit experience.
- Strong business acumen.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Prior Health carrier experience.
- Brokerage experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).
CompensationThe typical pay range for this role is: $51,286.00 - $101,286.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
