Position Overview:
The Superintendent plays a vital role within the project team, responsible for estimating, developing, and executing the comprehensive project plan. This position is essential for overseeing the execution of the plan, which includes directing, scheduling, and coordinating the construction and maintenance of various structures, facilities, and systems.

Methodology:
The Superintendent employs specialized tools to manage and schedule the installation of prefabricated assemblies on projects valued between $10M and $200M. The types of projects include data centers, hospitals, complex government facilities, airports, railway systems, and manufacturing plants, encompassing both new constructions and intricate renovations.

Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the electrical sector, with at least two years in a supervisory role.

Educational Background and Certifications:

  • High School diploma or GED with over 10 years of relevant experience
  • Master electrician's license is preferred
  • Advanced training in one specific area or foundational knowledge in two

  • Collaborate with the project team to develop estimates and integrated project plans
  • Comprehend contracts, scopes, specifications, drawings, and project plans
  • Oversee site logistics in partnership with the Logistics Service Center
  • Manage procurement processes and material releases in coordination with the Procurement Service Center
  • Engage with senior management, supervisory staff, clients, contractors, and design professionals to address work procedures, concerns, and construction challenges
  • Interpret and clarify plans and contract terms for administrative staff, workers, and clients
  • Organize and direct daily activities according to the project plan
  • Assign workers to construction sites as per the plan and monitor daily progress
  • Supervise teams and delegate tasks to foremen and electrical technicians
  • Inspect and review projects to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
  • Coordinate efforts with other contractors
  • Deliver quality and safe installations supported by our Safety and Quality Service Centers
  • Regularly monitor work progress against the project plan
  • Collaborate with the project team to maintain positive cash flow and profitability
  • Mentor technicians for career advancement
  • Conduct performance evaluations for foremen and electricians

Work Environment:
This role is physically demanding and requires outdoor work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow. The position involves working at heights and in restricted areas such as switchgear rooms, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, or attics. The Superintendent may be required to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor with clients and their representatives.

  • Production Tracking – Infralink
  • Scheduling – Primavera P6

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work with computer screens for extended periods
  • Capability to sit for long durations
  • Dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Proficient in reading and understanding written information
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems
  • Comprehension of spoken language
