The Construction Superintendent plays a pivotal role in the project lifecycle. You will manage large-scale multi-family construction projects from inception to completion, fostering trusting relationships with team members, subcontractors, architects, owners, and inspectors.

Key Responsibilities of a Construction Superintendent

As a Construction Site Superintendent, your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to excellence will ensure every project is a success.

  • Team Management: Lead and coordinate all project participants to ensure clarity in plans, mutual understanding of expectations, and effective collaboration. You will also mentor Assistant Superintendents to nurture the next generation of leaders.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure the project adheres to the established timeline.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain a proactive approach to safety, ensuring all standards are consistently met and ready for inspections.
  • Effective Communication: Promote UrbanCore's values and culture among all stakeholders, including subcontractors, team members, owners, and inspectors.
  • Project Familiarity: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all project details, including plans, submittals, sequencing, and documentation.

Experience and Skills Required
  • 5+ years of experience as a construction site superintendent managing large commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to interpret site plans effectively.
  • Experience in maintaining precise project documentation.
  • Knowledge of safety standards to ensure project safety.
  • Experience in site management and project leadership.
  • Capability to lead, mentor, and train team members and trade partners.
  • Experience in creating look-ahead schedules and project closeouts.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from $95,000 to $120,000, plus a performance-based bonus.
  • Comprehensive health coverage, fully funded by the company.
  • 401K plan with a company match of 100% up to 3%, and 50% up to 5%.
