Taking on the role of Construction Superintendent at UrbanCore will allow you to demonstrate your leadership capabilities. You will drive projects to ensure we surpass our clients' expectations.

The Construction Superintendent is pivotal to the project's success. You will manage large-scale multi-family construction projects from inception to completion, fostering trust with team members, subcontractors, architects, owners, and inspectors.

Key Responsibilities

As a Construction Site Superintendent, your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to excellence will ensure that every project is a masterpiece.

  • Team Management: Oversee all personnel involved in the project to guarantee clarity in plans, understanding of expectations, and effective collaboration. You will also mentor Assistant Superintendents to nurture the next generation of leaders.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure that the project adheres to the established timeline.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain a proactive approach to safety, ensuring all standards are met and always being prepared for inspections.
  • Effective Communication: Promote UrbanCore's values and culture among all stakeholders, including subcontractors, team members, owners, and inspectors.
  • Project Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of every project detail, including plans, submittals, sequencing, and documentation.

Skills & Experience Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a construction site superintendent managing large commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to interpret site plans effectively.
  • Experience in maintaining accurate project documentation.
  • Knowledge of safety standards to ensure project safety.
  • Experience in site management and project leadership.
  • Capability to lead, mentor, and train team members and trade partners.
  • Experience in creating look-ahead schedules and project closeouts.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from $95,000 to $120,000, plus a bonus.
  • Comprehensive employee health coverage fully paid by the company.
  • 401K plan with a company match of 100% up to 3%, and 50% up to 5%.
