Position Overview:
The Superintendent plays a vital role within the project team, responsible for estimating, developing, and executing the comprehensive project plan. This role entails overseeing the execution of the plan, which includes directing, scheduling, and coordinating the construction and maintenance of various structures, facilities, and systems.

Methodology:
The Superintendent employs specialized tools to manage and schedule the installation of prefabricated assemblies on projects valued between $10M and $200M. The types of projects handled include data centers, hospitals, intricate government facilities, airports, railway systems, and manufacturing sites, encompassing both new constructions and complex renovations.

Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the electrical sector, including at least two years in a supervisory role.

Educational Background and Certifications:

  • High School diploma or GED with over 10 years of relevant experience
  • Master electrician's license is preferred
  • Advanced training in one specific discipline or foundational requirements in two

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster an environment of ethical conduct and motivation
  • Inspire and lead teams and individual team members
  • Strengthen the company's rapport with clients by delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop estimates and integrated project plans
  • Comprehend the contract, scope, specifications, drawings, and project plan
  • Oversee site logistics in conjunction with the Logistics Service Center
  • Manage procurement and material releases in alignment with the bill of materials through the Procurement Service Center
  • Engage with senior management, supervisory staff, clients, contractors, and design professionals to address and resolve work procedures, complaints, and construction challenges
  • Interpret and clarify plans and contract terms for administrative staff, workers, and clients
  • Organize and direct daily activities according to the project plan
  • Assign workers to construction sites as per the plan and monitor daily progress
  • Supervise teams and delegate responsibilities to foremen and electrical technicians
  • Inspect and evaluate projects to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Coordinate efforts with other contractors
  • Ensure quality and safety in installations, supported by our Safety and Quality Service Centers
  • Regularly monitor work progress against the project plan
  • Collaborate with the project team to maintain positive cash flow and profitability
  • Mentor technicians to prepare them for advancement
  • Conduct performance evaluations with foremen and electricians

Working Conditions:
This position is physically demanding and requires outdoor work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow. The role may involve working at heights and in restricted areas such as switchgear rooms, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, or attics. Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and night shifts may be necessary. The Superintendent must interact with clients and their representatives while maintaining a professional demeanor.
