About the Role:
The Maryland Department of Transportation is seeking a highly skilled Trapeze Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our critical computer applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite IT support for systems troubleshooting and repair, systems maintenance, report generation, system documentation, and software updates.
- Support and maintain multiple modules in the suite of applications, including route and trip scheduling, run cutting, mobile computer communication, customer certification, customer service, real-time vehicle tracking systems (GPS), and Interactive Voice Response systems (IVR).
- Interface and collaborate with application end-users and 3rd Party vendors to solve problems or to successfully complete tasks.
- Work beyond normal business hours to perform system maintenance as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
- One year of experience responding to help desk calls from users of computer systems, with Trapeze or equivalent Transit software experience.
