Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Resource Logistics. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and image laptops and desktops for distribution to clients and internal teams.
  • Provide hardware and software problem diagnosis and resolution via phone, email, or remote support.
  • Route complex issues to internal 2nd and 3rd level IT support staff.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with vendors and support staff to resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Administer and provide user account provisioning.
  • Document and manage problems and work requests using our ticketing system.
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and instant messages from users, and assign work orders to support teams.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems through discussions with users, including problem recognition, logs, research, isolation, and resolution.
Requirements
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and technical documentation.
