Position Overview:

The Front Office Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the daily operations of the Front Office Department during their assigned shifts. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of customer service and operational excellence.

This is a full-time role requiring flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as dictated by business needs. The candidate should also be prepared to assist in other areas as necessary.


Compensation:
$29.40 per hour

Key Responsibilities:


1. Supervise all Front Office functions, including guest registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory management, and adherence to guest service standards.

2. Lead and mentor Guest Service Agents, Bell Staff, and Valet Attendants.

3. Evaluate team performance, providing guidance, scheduling, and recognition.

4. Monitor guest satisfaction trends, addressing concerns and implementing improvements.

5. Ensure compliance with company standards and policies.

6. Engage with guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and courteously.

7. Implement up-selling strategies to enhance hotel services and maximize revenue.

8. Ensure team members are knowledgeable about hotel offerings and local attractions.

9. Conduct necessary audit procedures.

10. Facilitate training for team members.

11. Attend relevant meetings and training sessions.

12. Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.

13. Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required.
2. At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a Front Office setting is preferred.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel Front Office role is preferred.
4. Previous guest service experience, ideally in a hotel environment.
5. Must be at least 21 years of age.
6. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while ensuring guest satisfaction and teamwork.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
8. Flexible availability for various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
9. Proficiency in English communication with supervisors, colleagues, and guests.
