Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Maintenance Engineer to ensure our guests enjoy a premium experience. You will be responsible for the comprehensive maintenance of the property, implementing routine procedures to guarantee it remains functional, enjoyable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain regular communication with colleagues, supervisors, and various departments.
  • Oversee all hotel equipment and execute preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Comply with all engineering safety regulations and protocols.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians and engineers on diverse maintenance tasks.
  • Utilize a range of tools including wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance apparatus.
  • Work alongside your team to maintain the grounds and effectively manage external contractors.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting and planning for the Maintenance Department.
  • Establish and uphold preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Engage in project-based improvements to infrastructure.
Qualifications:
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in computer software, preferably facilities management applications.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is mandatory.
  • Experience in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and grounds maintenance is necessary.
  • Experience in hot tub maintenance is a plus.
