As a key member of our Global Product Marketing division, you will advocate for the customer throughout the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.

At Apple, we merge product management, development, and marketing responsibilities into a cohesive Product Manager role that engages with design, engineering, operations, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales, and support to maximize organizational impact.

We are in search of a dynamic and accomplished product marketing expert to join the Apple Watch Product Marketing division.

You will contribute to defining and promoting new products and features, including the Apple Watch Ultra, while helping Apple maintain its leadership in the smartwatch, wearable, fitness, and health sectors.

This role encompasses both inbound and outbound efforts to drive the development, launch, and ongoing management of features and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:


Collaborate within a global, cross-functional team that includes hardware and software engineering, industrial and product design, marketing communications, and public relations throughout the complete product development lifecycle.

Assess new technologies and provide recommendations for future product offerings. Gather global customer, developer, and partner requirements for new products. Manage trade-offs related to features, timelines, product positioning, and lifecycle management.
Identify new product development opportunities while contributing to the overall strategy for the Apple Watch product line.
Maintain expert knowledge of competitive products and market trends. Effectively communicate and position the product within the competitive landscape.
Establish product positioning and key messaging. Collaborate with marketing communications and PR on the creation of product launch initiatives, press releases, and marketing collateral.
Represent your product globally by attending trade shows, customer engagements, and press briefings.
Stay informed on emerging technologies, consumer trends, and societal shifts, and recommend how products can align with these trends.

Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of proven experience working closely with cross-functional teams from both inbound product development and outbound marketing perspectives.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of smartwatches, wearables, fitness, health, portable, and/or related consumer hardware products, software, or operating systems.
Proficient in engaging with press, media, and influencers.
A self-motivated individual who demonstrates creativity and critical thinking skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Expertise in formulating product messaging, including creating and delivering outbound marketing strategies.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record as a product spokesperson on a national or global scale.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally a few times a year.
A bachelor's and/or master's degree, or MBA is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a range, providing opportunities for growth as you develop within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $165,500 and $293,800, with actual base pay depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
