At Apple, we merge product management, development, and marketing into a cohesive Product Manager role that works alongside design, engineering, operations, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales, and support to maximize organizational impact.

We are currently in search of a dynamic and accomplished product marketing professional to enhance the Apple Watch Product Marketing team.

You will contribute to defining and promoting new products and features, including the Apple Watch Ultra, while helping Apple maintain its leadership in the smartwatch, wearable, fitness, and health sectors.

This role encompasses both inbound and outbound responsibilities to drive the development, launch, and ongoing support of features and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:


Collaborate within a global, cross-functional team that includes hardware and software engineering, industrial and product design, marketing communications, and public relations throughout the complete product development lifecycle.

Assess new technologies and provide recommendations for future product initiatives. Gather global customer, developer, and partner requirements for new products. Manage trade-offs related to features, timelines, product positioning, and lifecycle management.
Identify new product development opportunities while contributing to the overarching strategy for the Apple Watch product line.
Possess in-depth knowledge of competitive products and market trends. Effectively communicate and position the product within the competitive landscape.
Establish product positioning and key messaging. Collaborate with marketing communications and PR teams on product launch activities, press releases, and marketing collateral.
Represent your product globally by attending trade shows, customer engagements, and press briefings.
Stay informed on emerging technologies, consumer behaviors, and societal trends, and recommend how products can align with these developments.

Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of proven experience working closely with cross-functional teams from both inbound product development and outbound marketing perspectives.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience and knowledge of smartwatches, wearables, fitness, health, portable, and/or related consumer hardware products, software, or operating systems.
Proficient in engaging with press, media, and influencers.
A self-motivated individual who demonstrates creativity and critical thinking skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Well-versed in formulating product messaging, including creating and delivering outbound marketing strategies.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a proven track record as a product spokesperson on a national or global scale.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally several times a year.
A bachelor's and/or master's degree, or MBA is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits: At Apple, base pay is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.

This allows for growth as you develop within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $165,500 and $293,800, with your specific base pay depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
