Key Responsibilities

As a Lead or Principal Architect at BCG Platinion, you will engage in interdisciplinary teams of designers, engineers, researchers, technical specialists, and consultants to craft innovative IT concepts and architectural solutions. Your role will involve applying your technical expertise, understanding of business contexts, and analytical skills to facilitate organizational technical transformations.

This position is primarily focused on serving the US Public Sector within BCG Platinion's Architecture practice, with opportunities to engage in commercial and private sector projects as needed.

  • Technical experts with critical thinking skills and extensive IT knowledge driving innovative solutions.

  • Knowledgeable practitioners with a sophisticated understanding of IT Architecture.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in information technology, business administration, computer science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with over 4 years in an architectural role.
  • Strong technical knowledge, engineering rigor, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology topics effectively to senior executives.
  • Extensive expertise in various technology stacks, cloud-native applications, integration methodologies, and more.
  • Experience in agile engineering and tooling support.
  • A proactive mindset that embraces challenges and envisions iterative improvements in architecture capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client engagements.
