Position Overview

Allied OMS LLC is a distinguished management services organization (MSO) in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery, uniquely blending the advantages of private practice with private equity. Role Summary
We are in search of a Human Resources Trainee to support our dynamic HR department. This role offers a valuable opportunity to engage in various HR functions while collaborating with our HR Generalist and Payroll Specialist. The HR Trainee will work closely with the HR team and organizational leadership, as well as with other departments to meet their recruitment and operational needs. Successful completion of this internship may lead to a full-time position as an HR Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment activities, including crafting and publishing job advertisements, evaluating resumes, and conducting preliminary interviews.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring the accuracy of data management.
  • Support the Payroll and Benefits team with various reports and special projects.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including I-9 documentation and tracking onboarding progress across multiple locations.
  • Manage administrative tasks within the HRIS Paylocity system, generate reports, and analyze confidential information.
  • Help monitor shared communication channels to ensure requests are directed to the appropriate HR representative.
  • Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights and suggestions for enhancing HR and organizational processes.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management, or a related discipline; candidates must be at least in their senior year of undergraduate studies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong administrative and project management capabilities.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Internship Duration: Minimum of 12 weeks with potential for extension.

Work Environment: Hybrid model.
