Facilities Operations Manager

Standard Workweek
LOCATION: Southlake, TX
POSITION SUMMARY: The Facilities Operations Manager is accountable for overseeing all facility-related functions, including new site developments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are essential. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed:
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance standards.
- Identify and evaluate potential expansion sites to support organizational growth.
- Maximize space and equipment utilization while minimizing operational expenses.
- Operate within established financial parameters.
- Plan and coordinate all installations, including IT, supplies, utilities, and communications.
- Ensure the maintenance of equipment and supplies to comply with safety and electrical standards.
- Follow inventory management protocols.
- Collaborate with building facilities personnel, external contractors, and vendors.
- Coordinate with the Chief Human Resources Officer to ensure facilities are covered under corporate liability insurance.
- Analyze utility consumption and implement strategies to reduce costs.
- Allocate office space based on organizational needs.
- Conduct forecasting for space and facilities requirements.
- Work closely with management on lease administration and tracking.
- Maintain comprehensive records of space planning, logistics, and financials.
QUALIFICATIONS: To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role.
- 10 years of experience managing multi-site operations.
- 5-10 years of experience in space planning is required.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of technical and engineering operations, as well as facilities best practices.
- Understanding of basic financial and budgeting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, and PDF.
- Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Wrike.
- A proven ability to prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working in a rapidly growing organization.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Regular travel to various multi-state clinic locations is anticipated, with an estimated travel commitment of 50%.
