Overview:
The Onboarding Specialist is an in-office position, responsible for providing a quality hiring experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This position manages candidate onboarding activities from 'offer-accepted' to 'hired'; this includes partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure candidates are efficiently and expeditiously guided through the hiring process, while adhering to federal and state employment laws.

Job Description:
- Contribute to a positive candidate experience by ushering candidates through all aspects of the onboarding process
- Continuously monitor the applicant tracking system to ensure timely candidate flow and completion of tasks
- Order pre-employment screening(s) as required, in a timely manner
- Use good judgment (and appropriate resources) to disposition candidates according to client and company guidelines
- Maintain a high-level of customer service during inbound/outbound calls
- Communicate in a timely and professional manner with all candidates and internal stakeholders
- Provide accurate and timely information in response to all inquiries and general correspondence
- Constantly monitor dashboards in onboarding-related system(s) for pending tasks
- Partner with HR/Legal regarding changing regulatory demands, as needed
- Maintain excellent data integrity within all onboarding-related systems
- Ensure adherence to FCRA, EEO, and all related employment laws
- Manage and troubleshoot post-offer applicant tracking system access issues
- Manage I-9 compliance and ensure timely completion of USCIS requirements
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 - 2 years relevant experience in onboarding, human resources, or recruiting
- Professional and friendly attitude; must be a team player
- Previous data entry experience strongly preferred
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with attention to accuracy and detail
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

- Manage anger/hostility or other emotions appropriately
- Work alone
- Work in confined or crowded areas
Physical Requirements:
This is a 'Sedentary' position; there will be prolonged periods of sitting, exerting up to 10 pounds of force may be occasionally required. Additionally, this position will be required to:
- Sit for 2+ hours per day
- Hear alarms/telephone/tape recorders/horns/normal voices
- Bend at waist, occasionally
- Have clarity of vision
