Job Title: UX Researcher - Human Perception Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Researcher to join our team at Experis. As a UX Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research on human perception and cognition, specifically in the context of audio and wearable technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute innovative research strategies to investigate human perception and cognition.
  • Design and conduct experiments using methodologies like psychophysics, expert reviews, and comfort research approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to turn research insights into actionable metrics that drive product development.
  • Conduct research on auditory scene analysis, threshold detection, and sensory systems related to novel hardware and software technologies.
  • Effectively communicate findings to cross-functional stakeholders, shaping product decisions throughout the design and development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Cognitive/Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Science, Psychoacoustics, Psychophysics, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in experimental design, psychophysics, behavioral analytics, and inferential statistics.
  • Strong background in human multisensory perception, cognition, and auditory scene analysis.
  • Proven experience conducting research for novel consumer products, particularly in wearable technology or audio perception.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate research into actionable insights for product development.
