Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a client to fill the role of Supply Chain Analyst. As the organization adapts and grows, this position is crucial for strengthening the Replenishment and Inventory Analytics team. The selected candidate will play a key role in enhancing supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 base

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness, focusing on improving in-stock levels and inventory turnover through data-driven insights and advanced analytics.
  • Leverage data to achieve strategic business objectives while fostering collaboration with Technology and Supply Chain Operations teams.
  • Analyze complex datasets to provide actionable insights that support critical business decisions.
  • Apply statistical and mathematical methods to innovate inventory management and replenishment practices, ensuring a solid grasp of supply chain design principles.
  • Develop scalable workflows and tools aimed at automating manual processes, thereby increasing operational efficiency.
  • Assess and optimize inventory levels, distribution networks, and transportation routes to reduce costs and enhance operational performance.
  • Deliver comprehensive analyses and recommendations to management regarding cost-saving initiatives and profitability improvements; work cross-functionally with Demand Planning and Merchandising to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Create dashboards, self-service tools, and ad hoc reports to analyze and present data related to business operations and strategic decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in advanced analytics within the supply chain sector.
  • Proficient in SQL, Advanced Excel, and familiar with Python/R or other scripting languages.
  • Understanding of Inventory Replenishment and ABC Analysis fundamentals.
  • Statistical knowledge pertinent to inventory management.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
  • Strong data analysis and communication skills; prior full-time experience in ecommerce operations and basic supply chain management is preferred.
  • Experience in designing and creating dashboards/visualizations using tools like Tableau or similar.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic startup environment, consistently delivering outstanding results.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • A structured thinker capable of driving analytical projects to completion with minimal oversight; possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to conduct in-depth analysis when necessary.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in Retail and ECommerce is advantageous.
