Job Summary

The Department of Transportation is seeking a highly skilled Staff Services Analyst to join our team. As a Staff Services Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Office of Business Management by producing and analyzing technical and complex reports, reviewing and processing hiring requests, and providing administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and analyze technical and complex reports for the Department regarding Personnel Year (PY) and Personnel Service Dollars (PS$) allocation, expenditures, and projections.
  • Review and monitor hiring requests from Resource Managers and process them accordingly.
  • Provide administrative support to the Office of Business Management, including data entry, record-keeping, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to support business decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, such as data analysis, business operations, or administrative support.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data visualization tools.
