Job Summary

Oklahoma City Community College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Professor of Psychology to provide high-quality instruction and support to students. As an Adjunct Professor, you will be responsible for teaching courses in Psychology, including Human Relations, General Psychology, and other related courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to promote student learning and success.
  • Provide quality instruction, support, and guidance to students, including office hours, online support, and other forms of communication.
  • Participate in the assessment of student learning outcomes, program evaluation, and other college-wide initiatives.
  • Maintain required office hours, respond to information requests, and attend meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a closely related field, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Psychology.
  • Demonstrated positive human relations and communication skills.
  • Basic internet and computer skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Flexible teaching style to accommodate individual learning styles.
  • Committed to helping students achieve their goals and attain a college education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with hybrid, in-person, and online instruction.
  • Experience working in High Schools and/or with concurrently enrolled students.
  • Online teaching certification.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in an indoor, classroom or office setting, with frequent movement and communication with colleagues and students.
