Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Acquisition and Program Management SME to enhance operational efficiencies within the DASA DE&C. This role is pivotal in orchestrating projects, harmonizing functions across various directorates, and ensuring seamless execution of operational tasks. Your expertise will contribute significantly to a collaborative environment where innovation is encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage proactively in exportability planning by collaborating with PEOs and representing the International Acquisition Directorate at relevant forums.
  • Regularly interact with senior leaders and PEO stakeholders to drive project advancements.
  • Develop Requests for Information (RFIs), identify trade-offs, draft problem statements, and create insightful presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Facilitate discussions at ASARCs and CSBs, ensuring stakeholder perspectives are integrated before senior leadership meetings.
  • Prepare talking points for system reviews, engaging with DASA DEC leadership effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Tech Ops/TSFD, PEOs, and other key stakeholders for coordination and problem resolution.
  • Provide timely information for tasker responses as requested by DASA DEC leadership.
  • Draft comprehensive materials that outline the Army's weapons systems, capabilities, costs, schedules, and performance metrics.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current Security Clearance (Secret level) is required.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; a technical degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Experience in developing Excel models for resource optimization and scenario analyses.
  • Proven ability to draft documents and presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective engagement with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and influence peers to drive progress and resolve issues.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to anticipating needs.
  • A curiosity and willingness to expand knowledge in programmatic and acquisition processes.
  • Preferred experience includes program office support for Army acquisition programs and operational experience with Army equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Army Acquisition Officer for major weapon systems.
  • Experience as an Army Product Manager or Assistant Product Manager.
