Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled BDC Manager to enhance our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication abilities and be adaptable to a flexible work schedule. Key responsibilities will involve overseeing a team of representatives who manage all incoming communications to the dealership's profit center and effectively guiding those leads through the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage dealership group phone lines, welcoming and assisting prospects and customers
  • Establish objectives and formulate strategies for business and revenue enhancement
  • Download and follow up on all dealership manifests and opportunity lists
  • Conduct outbound prospecting calls to invite potential customers to the dealership
  • Perform follow-up calls for customer satisfaction
  • Reach out to reschedule appointments for no-shows
  • Set performance targets for the business development team and devise plans to achieve them
  • Provide customers with updates on special-order parts, appointment reminders, and recall information
  • Collaborate effectively with sales, parts, and body shop departments
  • Engage with callers and visitors in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner
  • Draft memos, correspondence, reports, and other necessary documents
  • Train business development personnel
  • Assist in scheduling and confirming sales and service appointments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional listening and communication skills, with a friendly and positive demeanor
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
  • Professional appearance and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred
  • Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous
  • Retail experience is beneficial
