About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at DICK'S SPORTING GOODS INC. As a key member of our store team, you will play a critical role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet every customer and proactively approach them to understand their needs and provide support.
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, and inventory presentation and replenishment standards.
  • Promote company programs, such as customer loyalty programs and private label credit card enrollment.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company information and create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
Requirements
  • Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs. items repetitively.
  • Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking and perform repetitive motions for short periods.
