As a Sales Supervisor at Merchology, you will be responsible for organizing and guiding a team of Account Representatives, ensuring exceptional service and a streamlined sales experience. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this critical role drives continuous improvement through mentorship, sales training, collaboration with other departments, and analysis of sales metrics. Sales success is a must, with preference given to individuals with a background in e-commerce and B2B sales.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and mentor Account Representatives to meet and exceed KPI metrics, fostering a sales-driven environment.
  • Evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance individual and team results.
  • Manage new business opportunities via the sales inbox, local partnerships, and brand referrals, strategically assigning these opportunities to team members.
  • Handle inquiries from high priority customers, oversee escalated customer complaints, and ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure the team stays updated with the latest training materials, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Managers, Account Coordinator Supervisor and Customer Service Team to ensure a seamless customer experience across the entire customer journey.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with team members to review performance, discuss project and pipeline activities, and set expectations for improvement.
  • Ensure that team members have the necessary tools, resources, and support to excel in their roles.
  • Undertake special projects or other tasks as assigned to support team and organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, will consider experience in lieu of degree.
  • 1-3 years of successful experience in B2B sales, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of modern sales tools and CRMs, preferably Hubspot.
  • Experience managing a team of sales representatives that are responsible for maintaining and growing revenue.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively coach, mentor, and empower sales team members.
  • Ability to build relationships and work well with internal and external partners.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales productivity and retention.
